WHAT IS MEDIUM PRINT?

This is not traditional eco-printing. Medium print is a much freer, more colorful, and more experimental textile art technique.

In this process, we use:

* plants,

* textile dyes,

* various background layers,

* multiple layers of color and texture,

* plastic films,

* steaming,

* and sometimes alum and iron.

The result?

Vibrant, expressive, slightly wild shirts featuring botanical prints and artistic character.

Every piece turns out differently.

In this stage of the process:

* plants begin to leave more of their own natural tones,

plant chemistry + vibrant backgrounds

to create rich, layered designs full of character.

Lesson 3 🌿
Transforming Mistakes into Art
